Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SMB AI Team (“we”) collects when you visit smbaiteam.com, contact us, book a call, or use our client portal, and what we do with it. Questions? Email mario@smbaiteam.com.
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email, phone number (optional), message, how you heard about us (optional), and which website or AI assistant referred you to our site. We use this to reply to you and to understand which channels bring us new clients.
Booking a call: when you book through our scheduling page, Calendly collects your name, email, and any answers you provide, under Calendly's own privacy policy.
Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and reports only aggregated data, such as page, country, browser, and referring site.
Referral source in your browser: we store the site or AI assistant that referred you (for example, chatgpt.com) in your browser's local storage so we can include it with a contact form submission. It stays on your device unless you submit the form, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Client portal: for clients, we store your login email, project details such as milestones, scope, invoices, updates, and demo links, and a cookie that keeps you signed in. Passwords are kept only as secure hashes by our database provider, never in plain text.
Who processes it
We use a small set of service providers to run this site: Vercel (hosting and analytics), FormSubmit (delivering contact form emails), Calendly (scheduling), and Supabase (our database for inquiries and the client portal). They process data on our behalf to provide their services.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it to train AI models. Client data shared during an engagement is handled under that engagement's written agreement and NDA.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as they're useful for following up and understanding our business, and client project records for the length of the engagement plus the time needed for accounting and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing mario@smbaiteam.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
